Michael Epp

Michael Epp

Michael Epp lives on Bowen Island, B.C. A retired architect, he now devotes much of his time to painting, mostly in oil and acrylic. He also produces digital art which can be purchased on print on demand websites, and builds miniature houses for his granddaughter and her friends. Aviation art is a comparatively new area of practice which started when his son asked him for a painting of an A-10. The rest, as they say, is history.

Michael is a self-taught painter and he was initially inspired by the box art to be found on the plastic kits he built as a boy. Encouragement received in high school from his wonderful art teacher, Marie Vangeloff, was all he needed for art-making to remain a life-long passion.
